Getting started

What do I need to run the app?

An iPhone or iPad with iOS 17 or later.

Do I have to sign in?

Not to start. You can browse and read the free stories without an account. The app asks you to use Sign in with Apple after the free limit and to view purchased content.

Subscriptions and purchases

How do I restore a purchase?

Open any locked story to bring up the subscription screen, then tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple ID you bought with. Restoring is free.

My purchase isn't showing

Check that you are signed in to the app and to the App Store with the Apple ID you bought with, then tap Restore Purchases. If it still doesn't appear, email us.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Myth Explorer. Subscriptions are managed by Apple, and deleting the app does not cancel one. See Apple's guide to canceling.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles all App Store payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue them ourselves.

Reading and listening

Audio won't play

Some audio downloads the first time you play it. Make sure you have an internet connection and enough free storage, then try again.

I found a mistake in a story

Please email us with the story or chapter name and what looks wrong.

How do I turn off reminders?

Open iOS Settings, tap Notifications, choose Myth Explorer and turn off Allow Notifications.

Your account and data

How do I delete my account?

Open the app's settings and tap Delete Account. This erases your local data on that device and signs you out. It does not cancel a subscription, so cancel that with Apple first.

What data do you keep?

The app has no server of its own, so your reading, favorites and settings stay on your device. The Privacy Policy has the details.
